Greg takes in “Flight,” 1940.
Next time you visit Boston or D.C., fly Delta Shuttle, which leaves from the Art Deco-era Marine Air Terminal, the most charming transit hub in all of Queens and home to “Flight,” the largest WPA mural ever created. Who says the glamour of air travel is gone?

R U comfortable?
I recently swung through an exhibit about pochoir, a stencil technique that French decorators in the Twenties used for room renderings.
I discovered a few things, among them my my need for a demilune reading nook and, more importantly, an image that aptly illustrates this blog. Like Adnet’s Room for an Infant, sophiedonelson.com aims to reconcile words and design into a curious and compelling package. The show is only up till Dec. 20. Fingers crossed, sophiedonelson.com will have as much staying power as pochoir itself.
